1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by RANA G LTD (Company Number: 17203013), a construction company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 57 Richmond Road, Cardiff, Wales, CF24 3BT.

By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Definitions

• "Client", "You", "Your" refers to the person or entity engaging our services.
• "Services" refers to construction, building, renovation, and related services provided by us.
• "Quote" refers to the written estimate provided for proposed work.
• "Contract" refers to the agreement between you and us for the provision of services.

3. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided to us and a visual inspection of the site where applicable.

Additional work not included in the original quote will be charged separately and agreed in writing before commencement. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if there are significant changes in material costs or if unforeseen circumstances arise.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed upon in writing before work commences. Typically:

• A deposit may be required before work begins.
• Stage payments may be required for larger projects.
• Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the work.
• Payment should be made within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Our Obligations

We agree to:

• Carry out all work with reasonable skill and care.
• Use materials of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
• Complete the work within the agreed timeframe, subject to reasonable extensions.
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for public liability.
• Comply with all relevant building regulations and obtain necessary permissions.
• Keep the work area reasonably clean and tidy.

6. Client Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the work required.
• Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work site.
• Obtain any necessary planning permissions or consents (unless agreed otherwise).
• Make timely payments as agreed.
• Notify us promptly of any concerns or issues.

7. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel after work has commenced, you will be liable for payment for all work completed and materials purchased up to the point of cancellation. A cancellation fee may apply for administrative costs incurred.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate work if payment terms are not met or if access to the site is unreasonably denied.

8. Warranty

All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion, unless otherwise stated. This warranty covers defects arising from faulty workmanship but does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by the client or third parties.
• Issues arising from client-supplied materials.
• Movement caused by settlement or ground conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or any other economic loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
